Simplicity 2345: Another cowl top!

Since I've been wearing the last version a lot I figured why not make another one! I picked this fabric off the clearance table, its a polyester dry knit that has a lace type print on it.

Not much more to say! Its a really quick sew and I like how it looks under a cardigan :)

  1. How clever is that lace print - looks like a lace overlay!!! Are the armholes made with bias binding, or turned under???? What a sticky-beak I am....

    1. The armholes are finished with bias binding - its a bias strip of the self-fabric that is folded in half lengthways, sewn on then turned inside and stitched down (Its the same finish that was in S2369, not sure if its the standard way of finishing on knits??) Makes a very neat finish!

    2. Indeed, it is very neat - thanks!!! Your little piece of Paradise made headline news for us last night - a car chase around Mount Gambier...
