Sewaholic 1201: renfrew top again!

This time I got to sew it up for me! Its the view A with the elbow length sleeves - I used a cheap poly knit for this version, I wanted to check the fit before I used my nice fabric!
Its a size 16 through the shoulders/neckline and I graded out to a rough 18/20 on the sides plus added some width to the sleeves. I'm pretty happy with the fit, I have excess fabric at the lower back, which I've been trying to fix lately on some jacket muslins I've been working on and think it might have to do with my waist line being higher at the back than at the front - because a sway back adjustment doesn't fix it at all

This is how I'm wearing it today :) I'm still playing around with photographing in my new room, I took these a bit too early today for enough natural light and they're a bit crooked!

Happy Easter everyone! Don't eat too much chocolate, lol!

  1. This top looks really good on you. I think I have the same waist thing as you. By the way, I love your quilt- what a lucky friend you have. I haven't quilted yet but hope to, my mum has made us some lovely ones.

  2. I get the same waist thing happening too. If you find out how to fix it, let me know. When I tried a sway back alt, it still happened and the hem became too short too at the back.

I love the colour of the shirt. I always enjoy the colours you wear.
